Blue Bell Country Club is a lot like other American country clubs; it has a golf course, cl
ubhouse, swimming pool, dining options, and more, all surrounded by picturesque scenery. But not every country club can boast a course that was designed by "The King" himself, Arnold Palmer. Blue Bell, situated in the vibrant Whitpain Township community, is one of only three country clubs in the greater Philadelphia area to offer such a course.
"Arnold Palmer himself designed the course with both the professional and amateur in mind in 1994," Gary Murray, the director of sales and marketing, said. "The 18-hole course offers a challenging layout with rolling hills, water hazards and strategically positioned bunkers. (It) is an original work that is the culmination of over 40 years of experience building golf courses of distinction."
A full-length driving range and innovative short game practice area comprised of four green complexes and two bunkers are additional features of the prestigious course. Bentgrass fills the practice area, ensuring "real feel" conditions that mimic playing on the actual course.
