Blue Bell Country Club calls for donations to help food pantries

Residents and members of Blue Bell Country Club are looking to lend a helping hand to those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic by holding a food drive over the next few weeks.

Bud Hansen III, president of Blue Bell Country Club, said he was inspired to include members and residents in finding ways to give back to the community, according to a statement.

The initiative first began about a month ago as organizers sent preliminary information to members, made inquiries to area organizations and created a drop-off schedule, according to Gary Murray, a marketing consultant for Blue Bell Country Club.
